Good to know
All appointments are scheduled by phone, not online. Call us at (925) 886-4058 with your physician's order and we'll confirm your study, answer any questions, and find a time that works. Booking by phone lets us make sure everything's in place before your visit.
Yes. Bloom is a diagnostic imaging center, so every scan requires a signed order from your OB, midwife, or referring physician. If you're not sure how to get one, give us a call and we'll help you coordinate with your provider.
No. Bloom provides diagnostic prenatal ultrasound — medical imaging ordered by your physician and interpreted by a board-certified maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) physician. It is different from non-diagnostic keepsake imaging, though you'll still get to see your baby and take home a printed image.
Always. A board-certified maternal-fetal medicine physician interprets your study and a full report is sent to your referring provider within 24 hours. Your own doctor will review the findings with you — they're the right person to discuss what the results mean.
Your sonographer's role is to capture clear, complete images — not to interpret them. That's the MFM physician's job, and it protects you by making sure every finding is reviewed carefully. We know the waiting is hard, and we'll always treat your questions with compassion.
Bloom is self-pay and cashless — one flat price per study, due at the time of service. We accept all major credit and debit cards (we don't take cash).
Bloom Prenatal Imaging opens Fall 2026 at 181 Sand Creek Road, Suite A in Brentwood. Referring physicians can partner with us now — and families are welcome to follow along at @bloomprenatalimaging or reach out to be among our first appointments.
Give us a call — we're happy to help you plan your visit.
